I'm Laura. I'm a graphic designer and lecturer specialising in data visualisation
I am a Course Leader for the Graduate Diploma in Graphic Design at Chelsea College of Arts.
I am a tutor for Guardian Masterclasses, delivering bespoke training courses in data visualisation, building the capacity and design skills of organisations all over the world. I also run a handy little evening masterclass for the Guardian called Visual Storytelling with Powerpoint. It's all part of my mission to rid the world of needless bullet points. Everybody needs a mission.
I teach short courses, face-to-face and online for the University of the Arts London.
You can find out more about the courses I teach over here.
I have a small but growing list of data puns (somebody needs to).
I was previously the Director of Design at Data Design Studios in Shoreditch. These days I have my own practice as a Graphic Designer, working with arts, cultural and charitable organisations on branding, communication and campaigning projects.
I am currently working on a fundraising campaign for Union Chapel, a branding project for the Bishopsgate Institute and a data visualisation project for Black Artists in Modernism
If you would like to work together you can get in touch with me here.
