Gentrification Datazine

Contextualising local gentrification debates using open data

We increasingly use the term gentrification to describe a broad and complex range of urban issues. In doing so, we often and miss the opportunity to engage with the wider context in which gentrification exists.

This project was part of my research on the MA Communication Design At Kingston School of Arts. The short A5 zine contextualises local concerns using open data. Providing an accessible, hyper-local view on the issues of social housing, statutory homelessness, tenure splits, luxury development and ‘affordable homes.’
